Release your stress and unwind with the Young Women's Giving Council of the Chicago Foundation for Women and Bottom Line Yoga! Relax with aroma therapy and our one hour Vinyasa flow class lead by Rachael Altman. All proceeds from the event will go to support organizations throughout Chicago that work to improve the lives of women and girls through direct service and advocacy. YWGC will make the grants to these organizations in June. You can be a part of the impact these investments will have. Please be sure to register in advance as space is limited!
Please wear clothing comfortable for a yoga class, water and towel. The class will begin at 12p.m. so plan on arriving 15min early to get settled in.
Thank you to Bottom Line Yoga, and instuctor, Rachael Altman for donating the space and her time.
About RachaelRachael began practicing yoga with a MTV Yoga DVD in 2002, but truly began to deepen her practice when she discovered Ashtanga yoga in 2012 while living in Montgomery, Alabama. Ashtanga is a transformative practice - it has taught Rachael that anything is possible with patience, practice, and determination. She earned her 200 Hour yoga teacher certification at Yoga Now in 2016. Rachael is a librarian by trade — and by day, she works as a market intelligence analyst at a law firm in Chicago. She loves to travel and explore gluten free and vegan foods in Chicago and beyond — follow her foodie adventures on Instagram @senzaglutenchicago.
If you are unable to attend or would like to offer additional support, please consider donating to the Young Women's Giving Council.
