Janice Rodgers is a partner in Quarles & Brady, LLP, concentrating her practice on representing and advising not-for-profit organizations, including private and public foundations, charitable and educational institutions, and other tax-exempt entities.
She is being honored with a 2017 Impact Award for her work representing and advising nonprofit organizations, and her commitment to supporting women and girls through her involvement with Chicago Foundation for Women. She has been a champion of women’s issues at Chicago Foundation for Women since its inception, serving on the Foundation’s first fundraising committee. In the words of CFW co-founder Sunny Fischer: “Janice is often the women behind the scenes – she makes things happen with her skills and knowledge, never seeking praise or reward. Just being in the same room as she makes one want to be a better person. Her early work for CFW as we began its establishment made us smarter, more strategic, and strong in the long run.”
Rodgers is currently a member of CFW’s Finance Committee, audit subcommittee, Alumnae Council, and co-chairs the Professional Advisory Council. In addition to her involvement with CFW, Rodgers serves as a board member of the Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law, and in leadership positions for Women in Philanthropy, Women’s Issues Network, and Forefront. Janice also serves as a mentor to young women at the practice, and was recognized with Quarles & Brady’s Star Mentor Award.
