Anna DeShawn, 35, is a Chicago-born media professional and social entrepreneur. Media has always been Anna’s passion, so she turned her passion into a reality when she founded E3 Radio, LLC. E3 Radio is an online radio network curated from a queer point of view. Anna is determined to ride media into its next era by utilizing online radio streams to tell the stories that need to be heard.
Anna is also passionate about giving back. She is currently serving as President on the board of directors for Affinity Community Services. Affinity Community Services is a social justice organization serving the needs of the Black LGBTQ community of Chicago with a particular focus on Black women. Anna also serves on the communication team for the Church Within a Church Movement.
In Anna’s spare time, if that exists, she is a daughter, wife, sister, and friend. She’s also a marathoner & triathlete.
