BROOKE AND THE NICE THINGS Voted as Best Cover Band of 2016 by the readers of Chicago Magazine, Brooke & The Nice Things is an 8-piece Chicago soul band that loves to make you move your feet! They are too young to be old school and too old to be new school, but when they meet in the middle nice things happen.

KATIE KADAN Strong, raw, vulnerable, proud, a woman, Katie Kadan has always had a song to sing and music has always been the tamer of her soul. Sing-alongs with her sisters as a girl led to singing in the church and a growing love and appreciation for gospel music. Building on this base with influences from rock, classical, folk, and soul music, Katie uses her powerful voice to deliver emotional and heartfelt lyrics set to a soul rock backdrop.Balancing her time between being a vocal coach and piano teacher at School of Rock, Katie began playing clubs in Chicago in 2012, finding her beginning at The Underground Wonder Bar. Dedicated to her craft, she has continued to improve through live performance, collaboration and recording, developing an electric stage presence and music that makes you feel. Katie now calls the northwest side home, working out of Fort Knox Studios where she writes and records.
