Volunteer for a CFW event
Each year, Chicago Foundation for Women hosts several major events—the success of which depends on volunteers like you, especially for our
Annual Luncheon each fall. And as we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we can use your help as we host special events and launch exciting new projects.
Throw a party
Introduce your friends, peers and colleagues to Chicago Foundation for Women. House parties are a great way for Chicago Foundation for Women to reach new people throughout the community, share our mission, and get them involved in the causes we support. You choose the venue, the guest list and the food, and Chicago Foundation for Women will do the rest.

Young Women’s Leadership Councils promote and expand women's philanthropy and leadership across diverse communities by:
- Supporting programs serving women and girls in diverse communities through each council's dedicated grantmaking fund
- Raising money for each council's fund through membership fees, events and personal solicitations
- Promoting and cultivating leadership among underrepresented women
- Engaging the local community through events and collaborative partnerships
