Ripple Effect Award

There is nothing more rewarding than hearing about women leaving abusive relationships, receiving quality and affordable health care and becoming economically self-sufficient. The stories we share, both formally and informally, are affirmation that women and girls are leaders of a progressive movement, a compelling articulation of why the Chicago Foundation for Women exists.

Chicago Foundation for Women gives the Ripple Effect Award to these outstanding individuals, chosen by our grantee partners, are shining examples of the effectiveness of gender-specific funding and its magnitude. Through programs and strategies implemented by our grantee partners, they have excelled both personally and professionally, illustrating the triumph of women and girls when given opportunity.
