Young Women's GIVING Council

The Young Women's Giving Councilmembers are dedicated to developing themselves as philanthropists; broadening their leadership skills and granting funds to nonprofit organizations working for the betterment of young women and girls. Since making its inaugural grants in 2008, the Council has awarded more than $48,000 from the Young Women's Leadership Fund (see a full list of grantees here).
Mission Statement
Chicago Foundation for Women's Young Women's Leadership Council is a diverse community of young women ages 18 and up, who are committed to supporting young women and girls through philanthropic efforts. To support our philanthropy, we utilize our strength as a diverse network of young women to fundraise for the purpose of grantmaking. In addition, we develop the potential of young women as leaders and philanthropists through educational programming, leadership opportunities, and professional development.
